Engineer

At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we’re dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer like you!

What You’ll Do

• Complete hands-on training: Own and continuously improve end-to-end manufacturing processes for power transmission components and validate machining parameters, tolerances, fixturing methods, and process controls
• Develop standard : Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using G-code for turning, milling, hobbing, grinding, and related machining operations.
• Project management: Develop or support additional programming solutions using Python, SQL, or C/C for manufacturing data analysis, reporting, and process monitoring and maintain process documentation including standard work, work instructions, control plans, and process FMEAs
• Troubleshoot : Troubleshoot machining and programming issues related to tool paths, feeds, speeds, and machine behavior.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Support capacity planning, line balancing, and productivity improvement initiatives
• Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve design standards, and support cost-saving initiatives.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Manufacturing experience: Experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably involving machined power transmission components
• Mechanical aptitude: Strong background in machining process engineering
• Drafting software skills: Hands-on CNC programming experience, including G-code
• Attention to detail: Highly detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
• Customer service commitment: Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and upholding Martin's standards.
• Communication skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Self-motivation and goal orientation: Proactive with a strong drive to achieve personal and team goals.

• 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
