Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a CWR-Specialist, Logistics JB-2756 to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Operations Team. What's the Job?
- Provide logistics support including order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination
- Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
- Update account managers on problem loads and communicate load status to receivers and customers
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and condition-appropriate arrivals
- Coordinate delivery appointments, validate load data, and provide detailed routing instructions to drivers
- At least 1 year of logistics experience
- General knowledge of the transportation industry
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form
