You will help ensure all work meets regulatory and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos inspections and field investigations at project sites throughout the five boroughs.
- Assist staff with environmental fieldwork tasks across ongoing projects.
- Prepare project documentation, field notes, data evaluations, and reports under the guidance of senior staff.
- Provide both field and office support for environmental and asbestos-related projects.
- Manage and track assignments to ensure all deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.
- NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator License (required).
- 4 years of field investigation and inspection experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience interacting with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors.
- Field-based role with projects throughout NYC, particularly supporting NYC Agency work.
- Join a team of 10-15 Environmental Scientists and Inspectors, with opportunities to learn from experienced staff.
- Office located in Midtown Manhattan with a collaborative, energetic culture.
- Company-sponsored social activities, including outings and team events.
- Any required certifications during the first week of training are provided.
