- Maintain a safe work environment that follows all state, federal and company regulations.
- Performs complex analysis of samples following prescribed procedures with the ability to solve problems.

- Maintenance of equipment, including outside vendor scheduling per maintenance contract schedules and suggests solutions to equipment problems and new/replacement laboratory equipment.
- Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion.
- Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related science is highly preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Prior supervisory experience (2 ) is preferred.
- Experience with QA/QC, Lab certification and production required.
- Working knowledge of ICP, IC, and other laboratory instrumentation is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport through regular conversations with staff.
