The Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the recruitment process for our long-term care pharmacy region. This role will focus on sourcing, screening, and assisting in hiring top candidates for various pharmacy-related positions. The ideal candidate will have an interest in human resources and recruiting, as well as an understanding of the unique demands and regulatory environment of the long-term care pharmacy industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely recruitment process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Maintain positive relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and best practices in recruiting, particularly those related to healthcare and pharmacy.
- Participate in career fairs, college recruiting events, and other networking opportunities to promote the company and attract top talent.
- Handle remote work equipment process for new hires.
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
- Always ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
- Assist with any additional HR related tasks as needed.
- Associate's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or human resources; experience in healthcare or pharmacy recruitment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Knowledge of healthcare recruiting trends and regulations, especially those impacting long-term care pharmacies, is a plus.
