Job Title: Field Support Engineer Onsite
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Pay Range: $23/hr
What's the Job?
- Provide onsite support for all in-scope Software on supported Vendor and Inhouse Applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Install, move, add, and change (IMAC) hardware and software components at designated locations, including workstation setup, connectivity validation, and inventory updates.
- Perform hardware maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics, including component replacements and testing to maintain equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for hardware repairs and manage local hardware stockpiles and warehouse facilities.
- Support new software deployments, software maintenance requests, and resolve escalated issues that cannot be addressed by Level 1 Service Desk.
- Strong knowledge of computer sciences, particularly in telecommunications, networking, security, messaging, operating systems, databases, and identity & access management.
- Experience with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, including IMAC procedures and peripheral device setup.
- Ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and testing of hardware components effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and support end-users onsite.
