We're looking for an Electrical Designer for our Redding, California office. This person can work out of our Redding Jacobs office or any of the California Jacobs offices. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and on river facilities projects where you will play a role in the entire design process including but not limited to preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production. • Associate’s degree (AA) Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree.
• Trained in Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation software.
• At least 5 years working experience in Revit 3D modeling software
• Prior experience with BIM processes and parametric design software Autodesk or Bentley
• Proficiency setting up views, view templates, sheets, and schedules for construction documents.
• Proficiency printing full sets of construction documents and performing PDF quality control reviews in Bluebeam.
• Proficiency with design coordinating with other disciplines parametric and geometric content in 3D.
  
  

Ideally, You’ll Also Have: 

• Autodesk Revit Certified Professional
• Prior experience actively designing low voltage and communications systems for buildings
• Experience in electrical and low voltage systems design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
