Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum Qualifications · A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, combined with at least 7 years work-related experience.
- End to End NPD experience in system architecture, system design, rapid prototyping, system integration, testing, V&V, and design transfer.
- Knowledge in medical capital systems product life cycle and disposables like catheter, endoscope, pumps.
- Design experience in Analog, Digital board design involving microprocessor, microcontroller, memory, sensors and amplifiers.
- Knowledge in interface protocols like I2C,UART,SPI, USB, PCI. · Knowledge in high density cable design, harness and cabling.
- Experience in ECAD tools like OrCAD or Allegro for schematics generation and knowledge in PCB layout, DFx and Gerber release.
- Experience in component engineering and BOM generation for prototype, pilot and production BOM.
- Knowledge in IEC 60601, FDA submission and medical regulatory standards.
- Knowledge in VAVE analysis, vendor discussions and qualifications
- Use of test equipment’s like oscilloscope, multimeter, flow meter, signal analyzers for testing and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in drafting test protocols and generating reports
- Experience in bench testing, system characterization, troubleshooting and verification
- Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration capabilities

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
