The opportunity
This role is critical to support Teva’s Pivot to Growth Strategy and will work closely with the IT main stakeholders across the world. The Director has primary responsibility to support and/or lead large sized procurement and sourcing related activities across various IT Indirect Procurement categories at Global and Regional level.
This role will be part of the Global IT Indirect Procurement team and will be responsible for delivery and implementation of global category strategies that are aligned with Teva corporate strategy and financial goals. Critical to support Teva’s Pivot to Growth Strategy, the role will be working closely with IT function and finance IT main stakeholders across the world.
Accountable for supporting the development of procurement strategies, category management, supplier development, contract negotiations and stakeholder management, this role will also require the ability to support the production of high quality analytics, lead and/or support for RFx activities, negotiations planning, close interface with finance organization, savings reporting, supplier management and others.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
The annual starting salary for this position is between $150,000 – 197,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Global category strategy development, support and execution
- Identify potential sources of supply and conduct and/or support Request for Proposal (RfP), analysis, cost modeling and risk management
- Assist in sourcing strategy implementation and selection of suppliers
- Stakeholder management
- Analyze and produce reports on supplier spend data, sourcing initiatives and targeted/achieved savings
- Support supplier risk and sustainability assessments
- Prepare supporting documentation and presentations on local procurement projects for review and approval
- Support supplier management reviews and scorecards
- Support contract negotiations and management including successful execution of contracts, ensuring proper coordination with the internal legal team and managing on-going stakeholder contracting needs
- Bachelor’s Degree is required with a major or concentration in Business, IT or Finance preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of Procurement work experience required, with IT or Digital category Procurement experience required
- Experience in AI, Digital, Innovation is preferred
- Strong financial acumen is required
- Evidence of strong stakeholder management and influencing skills required
- Proven experience managing global supplier relationships and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong background in contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and total cost of ownership
- Strong in data analysis, market research, and category spend analytics.
- Deep understanding of cost drivers, pricing models, and value levers
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and regional supply market dynamics
