Responsibilities
Direct operations of the maintenance and facilities department to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements and objectives of the organization.
- Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting,evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives. May perform duties atparticipant's home or place of residence.
- Prepare budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and directinternal/external audits.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements relative to departmental operations and ensures departmental compliance.
- Provide support to and solicit input from other directors, leaders, administrators, and physicians.
- Encourage and establish a forum for quality improvement discussions, design, and implementation of ideas at all levels.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Certification specializing in Healthcare Facilities preferred.
- Drivers License preferred.
- Engineer preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
