The director, Workplace Solutions leads all functions involved with managing our North America corporate real estate portfolios, including real estate strategy, workplace design, construction management, along with building operations and amenities management for the Seattle Support Center, Regional Offices, and more. Additionally, this role oversees real estate strategy and transactions for Global Supply Chain, Starbucks Technology, and Global Coffee.

In this influential role, the director of Workplace Solutions will be responsible for the future of our corporate office portfolio - rethinking space utilization, amenities, services, and workplace programming. You’ll transform insights into actionable solutions that enhance productivity, belonging, and engagement for partners.
As a director, Workplace Solutions, you will…

As a director, Workplace Solutions, you will…
- Influence Broadly - initiates and maintains relationships with senior leaders, internal customers, landlords and vendors to resolve issues as needed and optimize capital and expense dollars.
- Work Cross Functionally – develops and maintains relationships with in-house and outsourced resources in the delivery of our Workplace Solutions strategy. Coordinates support from various SBUX functions including IT, partner resources, finance, global communications, global security, etc.
- Plan Strategically – responsible for the investment analyses, budget management, capacity and space planning and general upkeep of a portfolio of offices, and other support properties.
- Think Innovatively – challenges and inspires the team to achieve business results and adapt to the changing work environment.
- Impact Partners – this role is responsible for creating the physical “second place” for all support partners, which has a significant impact on how they experience Starbucks.
- 10 years of people leader experience in a corporate or multi-site retail company
- 10 years building relationships and influencing senior leaders
- 10 years financial planning and market analysis
- 10 years vendor and/or contractor negotiations and management
- 7 years of progressive experience in project management

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
