Description

Provides administrative support to Development Department. Responsible for gift entry and acknowledgment for the organization, work helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the donor database.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for data entry and gift processing, including facilitating donation acknowledgments and thank you letters.
• Routinely examine and cleanse current data records to eliminate duplicate records and inconsistent data and to maintain overall database integrity.
• Responsible for input and verification of gifts from credit card and lockbox services as well as third party online donation platforms.
• Maintain prospective and current donor records with utmost accuracy.
• Assist with any and all mission work as needed and requested with some or no prior notice including, but not limited to: serving as a truck spotter, helping with Farm Market/Community Garden/Freight Farms/on and off-site food distributions, preparation of meals and serving home-delivered meals and
• Other duties as assigned or needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and stay focused in a busy environment.
• Ability to use logic and analysis to troubleshoot issues. Thinking anticipatorily is greatly beneficial.
• Solid understanding of the gift processing, data and reporting needs of a development/fundraising office.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with ability to work regularly with various software programs (including Blackbaud Raisers Edge & NXT), lockbox providers and to pull information from the database as requested by other departments.
• Able to effectively communicate tactfully and diplomatically with staff and public.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity required.
• Valid and current NYS driver’s license and access to an automobile
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 35 lbs.
  
  

Salary Description

$18.00-$20.00/hr. *Bi-weekly Pay Periods
