Overview
To monitor customer orders and shipments to ensure requirements are met properly, shipments are made timely, and customer satisfaction is achieved. The incumbent works within established policies, procedures, practices, and regulations. Will be in constant contact with original equipment customers as a direct service to them so that Stryten will always meet their expectations.
Monday thru Friday. 6 AM to 2 PM
Responsibilities
Has no direct reports in this position. Provides guidance to others performing the same type of work. Plans, organizes, and directs the day-to-day workflow and activities of assigned employees. Reviews completed assignments for quality and accuracy.
Relationships
Maintains frequent contact with production supervisors, vendors, corporate personnel, freight companies, truck drivers. Also coordinates hourly production personnel in the daily shipping process.
Qualifications

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. The following experience is preferred: working knowledge with personal computer, email, calculator, and printers.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Pc Software Knowledge
Working knowledge with personal computers, email, and printers. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications is preferred.
Physical Demands
Physical demands include hearing, speaking, seeing, writing, standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting of 50#, simple grasping, pulling, pushing, twisting, and repetitive use of hands.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Normal office environment with less frequent exposure to lead, fumes, noise, dirt, hazards, chemicals, extreme heat, and extreme cold.

Responsibilities
- Coordinates the O.E. demand and ensures timely filling of customer orders using purchase orders, EDI, or E-Mail.
- Review and maintain customer developed reporting systems to ensure accuracy of data reported.
- Develop and document procedures within TS16949 guidelines.
- Coordinate outbound traffic flow and proper documentation for these shipments.
- Act as a service representative to answer customers’ questions regarding their orders and shipments as well as building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers.
- Prepares shipping documents for batteries and other material being shipped, while coordinating traffic flow.
- Coordinates correspondence with corporate traffic department and carriers to schedule timely shipments.
- Cross trains into other roles within the department to support scheduling, receiving, and label management.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
- Other duties may be assigned.
