Major/Essential Functions
- Cleans, sanitize restrooms, disposes of trash from offices, lab common & classrooms, wipes furniture
- Cleans glass windows and doors
- Removes bio-hazard waste when scheduled
- Cleans and maintains equipment in good working order
- Clean floors. Clean base boards and corners, strips and waxes floors as needed
- Coordinates and assists with the coordination of cleaning work areas with construction staff
- Respond to emergency calls to correct or remediate the problem
- Must have and maintain valid State of Texas Driver's License and be listed as an approved driver as determined by Risk Management and insurance carrier
- Must be able to pass the employee Criminal Background Check
- Actively participates and completes training, personal development and continuing education
- Dust, wet mop floor, vacuum, shampoo carpet in assigned areas. Burnishes floor in assigned areas
- Responsible for keeping all work areas, equipment clean
- Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.)
- Remains current with all licensures, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position
- Personally demonstrate, display and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution
