Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, site cleanliness, safety compliance, manpower allocation, and trade coordination.
- Supervise field employees and subcontractors to ensure work aligns with project specifications, client expectations, and deadlines.
- Plan and schedule labor, materials, and equipment to support project goals effectively.
- Review project scope thoroughly before construction begins and maintain clear communication with the Kirk Gross project team throughout all phases.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and city officials.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship in accordance with architectural plans and specifications.
- Perform general construction tasks as needed, including demolition, framing, finish carpentry, trim work, and drywall installation.
- Accurately read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Manage jobsite tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring proper use, storage, and timely return.
- Identify faulty equipment and coordinate repairs through the office.
- Oversee punch list completion and resolve issues promptly to ensure successful project closeout.
- Document scope changes and back charges, and communicate updates to the project manager in a timely manner.
- Submit properly coded receipts and delivery tickets accurately and on schedule.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics.
- Skilled in framing, cabinetry, door installation, and tile work.
- Proficient with hand tools and tape measure usage.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with ProCore, BusyBusy, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Docs.
