VCA Metroplex Animal Hospital has been a provider of quality veterinary care to Dallas County and surrounding Dallas/Fort Worth communities, since 1976. We offer convenience and peace of mind to our clients by being open and staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our hospital features eight exam rooms, two surgical suites, a spacious area for procedures and testing, an extended space for boarding that includes an outdoor play area, as well as a comfortable waiting room, a separate waiting area for cats, and our own pharmacy. Our large staff is comprised of multiple veterinarians, a team of highly qualified technicians, and dedicated veterinary assistants, animal care attendants and client service representatives.

Pay rates for qualified candidates can start at $18.00 per hour

Why We Need You

Responsibilities

As the face of Metroplex, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

  • Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
  • Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
  • Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
  • Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
  • Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
  • Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.

Hours are flexible at this time. Full time or part time is available.
