This role involves hands-on work with row crops such as canola, corn, cotton, and soybeans in controlled environments, including greenhouses and growth chambers.

Biologist - Controlled Environment
Job Description
The Plant Biologist supports research activities focused on understanding plant growth and development under varying environmental and physical conditions. Responsibilities
- Sow seeds and manage plant care throughout growth stages.
- Perform transplanting, harvesting, and seed processing.
- Discard plant material and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Monitor plant health and environmental conditions.
- Maintain detailed records of plant care and experimental procedures.
- Assist with routine greenhouse and growth chamber maintenance.
- Participate in rotational weekend work as needed.
- Experience with plant care in a greenhouse or other growth chamber.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures.
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Biology, Horticulture, or related life sciences.
- Commercial greenhouse experience is a plus.
