Job Description

The Distributed Facilities Accounts Payable Manager will manage a team of Accounts Payable Coordinators in a shared service environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Overall management of the Accounts Payable function
• Ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers
• Ensuring accurate capture of cost details at an itemized level
• Managing departmental adherence to company internal controls and procedures
• Identifying issues and providing solutions to account teams/ management
• Ensuring SOX compliance
• Researching, Analyzing and Resolving complex payment and vendor data
• Training, Evaluating and Developing of Employees
• Addressing performance issues and making recommendations for personnel actions
• Reporting and analysis as required by management
• Enhancing the communication between Distributed Facilities AP Services and its internal and external customers
• Conducting audits of A/P to ensure disbursements have been correctly applied; Provides support for audits conducted by both internal and external sources
• Hosting calls with operations to ensure A/P team better supports their needs
• Analyzing and evaluating procedures and work processes to exercise appropriate judgement in establishing priorities and work methods
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Position is remote eligible with a preference on Nashville, TN or Philadelphia, PA if possible
  
  

Qualifications

• 4 years of accounting experience preferred
• 2 years of leadership experience preferred
• Facilities Management experience preferred
• ERP AP system experience, preferably Oracle
• Strong Microsoft Office abilities
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Solid time management skills: ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
