What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant LMMHS principal position at Lenox Memorial Middle and High School?
This temporary position provides support to the Middle/High school principal. The role includes planning, accounting and communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Manage the principal's calendar and assist with communication.
Coordinate graduation and other end of year events.
Update and maintain the school’s website.
Draft and publish weekly newsletters to the school community and faculty.
Coordinate field trips and related transportation.
Manage the student activities fund.
Coordinate all MCAS testing - registering students and planning for test administration.
Manage all purchase orders, coordinate with vendors, manage online financial accounts and receive and record deposits.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills - able to communicate verbally and in writing both effectively and succinctly.
Detail oriented, comfortable working with calendars, schedules and large databases.
Ability to multi-task and maintain composure while working in a fast paced environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student and staff information.
Ability to interact effectively with students, parents and staff.
HOURS PER WEEK: 40 hours
COMPENSATION: Pending approval of new Unit C Contract.
2025-26 salary range is $19.58 - $24.13 per hour.
