Position Summary:
The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth and enhance the brand image of Lennys. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in marketing, including digital marketing and analytics, to manage and optimize all marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, coordinate and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans in support of the Lennys vision and objectives.
- Develop unique value propositions, business partnerships, category management, as well as call to action-oriented POP, collateral and advertising toward key customer segments that increase brand awareness.
- Achieve targeted results and ensure timely and effective execution of marketing tactics and programs.
- Analyze, evaluate, plan and execute on both existing and potential marketing activities and strategies. Develop benchmark criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs (LTOs, Promos, LSM, Pricing and menu changes).
- Conduct and analyze market research to determine competitiveness
- Measure returns on marketing investment and implement improvements as required
- Identify, interpret and capitalize on marketing trends
- Manage full franchise funded marketing budget forecasted annually and by project
- Coach, Mentor and raise the team’s ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent.
- Develop and prepare key messaging and presentation material for the executive committee team.
- Advise and work collaboratively with all department heads including operations, legal, development, IT and HR to ensure strategic objectives are understood and aligned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Digital Marketing, SEO) are preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing management with a strong track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Previous experience with multiple store types (i.e.: free standing, mall food court, strip centers, mall in-line, airport, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
