The Quality Control Inspector’s primary function are to ensure the inspection of finished products in accordance with checklists and inspection procedures.
Job Duties
- Assisting in the sampling, sorting, measuring and inspection of incoming components and raw materials to the company’s blueprints or specifications.
- Ensure the inspection of finished product to checklists and inspection procedures.
- Assists in the labeling, segregation and reporting of items which did not meet inspection requirements.
- Assists in the preparation of required inspection reports.
- Ensure products meet customer expectations.
- Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
- Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods.
- Determining the causes of product defects and reworks.
- Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products.
- Notify the department manager of any items that don’t meet requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- Must be able to work 5 days a week – 8am-5pm.
- Must be able to read/write in English.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
- Ability to use measuring devices like calipers and measuring tape.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, twist, and turn for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
