Internal Communications & Content Officer - Investment Banking

Business Overview:
The Marketing & Communications team oversees the marketing and communication strategy in the Americas, predominately for the Corporate & Institutional Banking franchise, in collaboration with the Group (Paris) communications teams. The functions of this group today include: Events & Sponsorship, Media Relations, Marketing, Social Media, Content, Philanthropic Initiatives, Advertising, Client Creative Services, Internal Communications and Video Services.
The Internal Communications & Content Officer is a role that is responsible for developing and executing all internal communications initiatives while creating compelling content for both internal and external audiences - the content strategy therefore spans both internal and external channels. This role focuses specifically on supporting our Institutional Clients businesses (Global Markets Americas, 2S, and FIC), serving as a communications partner for these business lines.
This individual will build strong relationships within the business and will be responsible sourcing relevant topics, coordinating editorial content, and managing content distribution across multiple platforms, including:
- Internal channels (internal mailings, all-staff meetings, Echonet platform)
- External channels (Content Hub, social media, thought leadership articles)
Additionally, this role will actively participate in cross-CIB communications initiatives to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization.
The role reports to the Head of Internal Communications and Content Strategy, Institutional Clients.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience in internal communications, required within a bank or financial institution
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Intranet, mailing and website management experience, as well as familiarity with social network platforms
- Foundational knowledge of banking and markets
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to:
- Prioritize and organize complex initiatives
- Exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical skills to synthesize data and derive actionable insights
