Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Technical Implementation Specialist to lead and execute our Salesforce ecosystem strategy. This role will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing our Salesforce platform to support our mortgage lending operations, improve team productivity, and enhance the customer experience. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical expertise combined with a strong understanding of mortgage industry workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and implement Salesforce solutions including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to support mortgage origination, processing, and servicing workflows
• Develop and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows, process automation, and Lightning components tailored to mortgage operations
• Lead integrations between Salesforce and core mortgage systems including Loan Origination Systems (LOS), pricing engines, document management platforms, and third-party APIs
• Build custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights for sales, operations, and leadership teams
• Manage user permissions, profiles, roles, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry regulations
• Collaborate with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Ensure Salesforce implementation adheres to mortgage industry compliance requirements including TRID, RESPA, and state-specific regulations
• Provide technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to end users across the organization
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve platform reliability and user adoption
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, mortgage industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our technology stack
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
• Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Platform Developer I or additional certifications strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce declarative tools including Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder
• Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, and Apex development for custom functionality
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions
• Strong understanding of data management practices including data modeling, migration, and quality assurance
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience working in agile development environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry
• Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass, Calyx, or BytePro
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or nCino
• Experience with CPQ, document generation tools, or e-signature integrations
• Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I, or Marketing Cloud certifications
• Experience with DevOps tools and release management in Salesforce environments
