Lenape Valley Foundation is seeking a Psychiatric Assistant to support the doctors who provide critical mental health services for the Bucks County Community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in the mental health field! This is a full-time position, working 9-5 Monday-Friday.

What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- One or more years’ experience in a medical setting highly preferred.
- Comfortable engaging in phone based communication for the majority of the workday
- Compassion for our clients
- Organization skills and a high attention to detail
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to perform the physical requirement of the job description, with or without accommodation
Your Role
- Provide phone support by answering scheduling calls and questions/concerns about medications
- Understand insurance to properly schedule clients with the correct prescribers
- Provide SUPERIOR customer service while responding to client’s requests
- Address billing warnings and insurance coverage
- Educate clients on refill policies ad how to access the refill clinic
- Enter information into electronic medical records
- Effectively communicate with clinical and billing teams
- Maintain voicemail
