What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or a related human services field; or current Registered Nurse licensure.
- Minimum of two years of human services experience, including at least one year providing direct mental health care.
- Preferred: One or more years of experience in a drug and alcohol treatment setting.
- Experience conducting ASAM Level of Care Assessments strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Your Role
- Respond to and monitor a 24-hour crisis call center serving individiduals in behavioral health emergencies
- Provide crisis triage, intervention, counseling, information and referrals
- Conduct face-to-face behavioral health and level-of-care assessments.
- Develop immediate stabilization and crisis response plans with clients and families.
- Coordinate emergency psychiatric evaluations and involuntary commitment applications when clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with community providers, hospitals, law enforcement, and support systems to ensure continuity of care.
