This company has three homes, serving 15 individuals with intellectual disabilities. The Direct Care Employee (caregiver) works directly with Adults with Developmental Disabilities and provides care and assistance with daily living tasks.
Hours/Shifts: We are currently looking to hire a full time Wednesday through Saturday position. 40 hours/week. This 40 hour shift includes 8 paid sleep hours!!
Wednesdays 2pm-8am Thursday (18 hours), Thursday 1pm to 7pm, Friday 1pm to 7pm, Saturday 8am-6pm.

Responsibilities and Duties
Position Summary: The direct care employee directly serves our clientele, providing care, support and skills-training to individuals with developmental disabilities. Basic job duties may include: food preparation, housekeeping, skills-training at home and/or in the community, basic hygiene care, medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living, following a support plan, transportation of clients (approved drivers only), social skills training, and integration into the community.
Qualifications and Skills
**Applicants with current drivers license and clean driving record are preferred.
No experience is required, but you must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a Criminal History Check. We will provide training, and pay for your CPR/First Aid class.
Benefits
Pay and Benefits: Starting $18/hour. After required trainings are complete pay increases to $19/hour.
