We’re now entering our next phase of growth: scaling Hero into an industry-standard SaaS platform while expanding our AI video and managed services offerings. We’re looking for a Director of Demand Generation who can build and lead a modern, high-velocity, pipeline-centric growth engine.
Role OverviewThe Director of Demand Generation owns the strategy, execution, and performance of our multi-channel demand engine, with a heavy focus on:
- Outbound strategy SDR alignment
- Events, community, and experiential programs
- Integrated demand generation campaigns
- ABM and performance marketing strategy
This role reports to the SVP of Marketing, partnering tightly with Sales, Product, Creative, and RevOps.
Your mission: Generate predictable, high-quality pipeline across both our Services and AI-video offerings.
What You’ll OwnPipeline & Revenue- Build and own a predictable demand engine for both Services and Hero SaaS.
- Deliver predictable pipeline and qualified meetings targets across enterprise, mid-market, and SaaS prospects.
- Architect and own full-funnel inbound and outbound performance funnel
- Build and manage a forecasting model that ties campaigns, events, and outbound to pipeline outcomes.
- Build the annual demand plan with clear KPIs (pipeline, CAC, meetings, conversions, PLG activations).
- Create integrated campaigns across paid, organic, events, content, and partnerships.
- Prioritize enterprise ABM (Amazon, Walmart, CPG, Retail, DTC) while fueling self-serve SaaS.
- Rebuild Lemonlight’s outbound engine and manage SDR team and strategy.
- Create outbound playbooks, messaging libraries, and multi-touch sequences that support Services and AI-video in partnership.
- Partner with Sales to run account plays, persona-based campaigns, and industry-specific motions.
- Optimize outbound performance through experimentation: channel mix, creative, offers, and sequencing
- Develop integrated campaign strategy across channels: paid, outbound, email, content, social, and web.
- Build quarterly campaign calendars tied to business priorities (AI-video, enterprise verticals, case studies, new product releases).
- Own campaign execution from brief → creative → launch → reporting.
- Drive consistent testing across messaging, audiences, offers, formats, and creative assets (leveraging Lemonlight’s video strengths).
- Own our event strategy: conferences, tentpole events (Cannes, Shoptalk, CES, Tech Week), executive dinners, roadshows.
- Build Lemonlight’s community and thought leadership engine: webinars, office hours, roundtables, industry meetups.
- Partner with Creative to develop high-impact event assets (video, decks, demos).
- Define pipeline targets and attribution for each event
- Lead targeted ABM motion for key accounts and verticals.
- Build high-impact programs around major conferences (Cannes Lions, UnBoxed, Shoptalk, GroceryShop, CES, Tech Week).
- Partner with Sales for account plays, content needs, and executive event strategy.
- Lead channel strategy and pipeline targets while managing a Performance Marketing Manager who owns day-to-day execution and optimizations.
- Build integrated media plans and creative testing frameworks that leverage Lemonlight’s production AI capabilities, ensuring efficient spend and measurable impact.
- Oversee agency/contractor support and ensure paid media performance tightly aligns with outbound, events, and overall demand campaigns.
- Partner with RevOps to improve attribution, scoring, routing, SLAs, and reporting.
- Build dashboards that show channel performance, outbound efficiency, event ROI, and campaign impact.
- Ensure tight marketing → sales alignment with clean handoffs and predictable follow-through.
- Manage a team across events, demand programs, digital/performance, and outbound.
- Recruit top operators as we scale demand for Hero and Services.
- Build a culture of testing, accountability, and high-velocity execution.
- Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Product Marketing, Sales, and Product.
- 8–12 years in B2B demand generation; experience in SaaS, SLG, PLG, and agency/creative/services strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of generating $15M in pipeline annually and delivering on pipeline-to-revenue targets.
- Deep experience with ABM, enterprise GTM, paid media, outbound lifecycle automation, and funnels.
- Proven track record building outbound engines and generating $8M–$12M in pipeline annually.
- Strong understanding of creative testing, video performance, and AI-driven content a plus.
- Experience partnering with Sales, Product, and RevOps in a high-growth environment.
- Strong operational and analytical chops: forecasts, dashboards, funnel optimization, attribution.
- Ability to lead teams, manage agencies, and work cross-functionally in a high-growth environment.
