Technical Copy Writer

LeMans is seeking a detail‑driven Technical Copy Writer to join our Edge Advertising department to create clear, accurate, and engaging catalog and marketing copy for a wide variety of powersports vendors. This role is instrumental in ensuring our marketing materials reflect the most current product, application, and fitment data—helping LeMans maintain its position as a market leader in the powersports industry.

You’ll collaborate closely with the LeMans purchasing team and industry vendors while transforming technical product information into easy‑to‑understand content tailored for global powersports dealers.

What You’ll Do

• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content across all marketing media
• Develop and maintain product descriptions for catalogs, including large data sets and application charts
• Translate vendor‑supplied technical information into LeMans catalog style copy
• Analyze powersport‑specific fitment and application information for accuracy
• Communicate directly with vendors to request and verify product details
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent product presentation
• Maintain strict confidentiality while handling proprietary information

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• 2–4 years of writing or technical writing experience
• Powersports industry experience preferred

Key Skills & Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and content for specific audiences
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Solid understanding of powersports products, technical specifications, and fitment data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment & Requirements

• Remote work eligible with access to high‑speed internet and a dedicated home office
• Must be available during work hours via company communication platforms
• Ability to sit for extended periods (7 hours per day)
• Ability to read from a screen and communicate verbally and in writing on a frequent basis
• Occasional mobility within an office environment when applicable
