Overview
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for running day-to-day distribution center (DC) operations. The role contributes to the development of a stable and responsive workforce including recruitment, training, and evaluation of warehouse employees.
Job Functions
- Supports and oversees daily DC operations including picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and uses data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety
- Asks questions, challenges processes, and helps drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Leads daily team activities by setting clear expectations and engaging employees to meet performance goals
- Builds strong relationships with team members through clear communication, coaching, and feedback
- Assists with labor planning and resource allocation to optimize productivity
- Partners with HR and leadership on hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development
- Promotes and reinforces a strong safety culture in alignment with OSHA and company policies
- Supports inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and data analysis
- Utilizes warehouse systems (WMS) and reporting tools to make informed operational decisions
- Contributes to system implementations, process standardization, and cross-functional projects
- Communicates performance results, insights, and action plans to leadership
- Maintains strict confidentiality
- Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's Degree Or Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field or equivalent related experience
Experience Level Details
0-2 Years Internship, part-time, or project experience in operations, logistics, retail, or supply chain preferred
1 - 2 years' experience in a leadership role
