About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level CAD Designer to join our engineering team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in layout design, product development, and additive manufacturing. In this role, you will be the primary link between technical design and our sales department, ensuring our customers’ needs are met with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Layout Drawings: Create precise and professional layout drawings for customers using AutoCAD.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team on a daily basis to interpret project requirements, provide technical support, and ensure timely delivery of design assets.
- Product Development: Assist in the research, development, and design of new products.
- Model Maintenance: Maintain, update, and organize existing 3D model libraries.
- 3D Printing: Apply your knowledge of 3D printing to create prototypes and assist in design validation processes.
Required Qualifications
- Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Office Skills: Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with 3D printing processes and best practices.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
