Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to help ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards across all of our locations. This role focuses on evaluating managers and employees for compliance, identifying gaps, supporting corrective actions, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate managers and employees for compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all Leisure Creations locations.
- Conduct regular audits, reviews, and assessments of operational practices, documentation, and workplace behaviors.
- Identify compliance gaps or policy deviations and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Partner with leadership and department heads to support consistent policy application and employee understanding.
- Develop and maintain clear records of compliance evaluations, findings, and follow-up activities.
- Assist in updating and communicating company policies as needed to keep them current and effective.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on compliance-related questions and best practices.
- Promote a positive culture of integrity, accountability, and quality throughout the organization.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Prefer a history of working in Law Enforcement and business.
- Proven experience in compliance, internal audit, Law Enforcement, HR compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of workplace policies, procedures, and best practices for consistent application across teams.
- Excellent observational, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels.
- High integrity, objectivity, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
