Leigh Harter Speech Services is a small private practice providing high-quality speech and language therapy to children and adults in Livingston County. We’re a supportive, family-friendly team looking for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join us and make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.
Position Summary
We’re seeking a dedicated Part-Time or Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide individualized therapy services to a diverse caseload, comprising approximately 60% pediatric and 40% adult clients. This position is primarily clinic-based, with occasional travel (10–15%) to nearby preschools and daycare centers that we serve. We’re seeking an individual who values flexibility, creativity, and collaboration in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support client progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Use evidence-based practices and stay current with the latest research in speech therapy
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Michigan SLP License (required)
- CCC-SLP preferred, CFs welcome to apply
- Experience with pediatrics and Autism Spectrum Disorder (required)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, with a mix of 4–10-hour shifts available - depending on desired schedule (Fridays required).
- Part-time: 25–32 hours per week
- Full-time: 32–40 hours per week
- Clinic hours: M-TH 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- No weekends or late evenings required.
