Job Description:
As an Automotive Sales Consultant at Leif Johnson Automotive, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchase process. You will provide a high level of customer service, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our dealership. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and staying informed about current promotions and incentives.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a welcoming and professional manner
- Understand customer needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations
- Present and demonstrate vehicle features, options, and benefits
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory, pricing, promotions, and incentives
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers on financing and leasing options
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular follow-up and post-sale support
- Attend and participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in sales or a related field is an asset
- Previous experience in automotive sales or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
