Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a Surface Mount Assembly Technician to join our team that runs SMT equipment that produce a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA’s).

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00

Primary Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of SMT machines such as: Stencil Printer, Solder Paste Inspection, Pick & Place machine, Reflow Oven, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).
- Understanding of different electronics packages such as 0402, 0603, BGA’s and how they are processed on a SMT line.
- Experience working under a microscope.
- Works to achieve day-to-day objectives and have significant impact on the work output.
- Works independently under limited supervision.
- Work in team environment and interacting with different functions, project teams and productions teams.
- HS Diploma/GED with at least 2-4 years Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience.
- Knowledge of SMT processes used to build Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.
- Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
- Current or prior certification in IPC-A-610.
- Current or prior certification in J-STD-001.
- Experience using X-ray to inspect PCBA'S
