Leidos’ Defense Sensors Research and Analysis Portfolio is seeking a Property Accountability Specialist to join our team. The Property Accountability Specialist is responsible for end‑to‑end accuracy of property transactions and records spanning ELMS and connected accountability systems. This role safeguards audit readiness and mission performance by ensuring that every receipt, transfer, lifecycle update, valuation change, and disposal action is executed with zero defects, documented correctly on first submission, and reflected consistently across ELMS, PIEE, PCARSS, LOSS, AESIP, and associated tracking tools. The Specialist proactively coordinates with EPAO, APO, A2R, Contracts, Auditing, and THAAD component stakeholders to maintain seamless property operations and on‑time approvals.

Primary Responsibilities
ELMS Property Transactions
- Execute all ELMS accountability actions: receiving, transfers, record updates, lifecycle changes, and disposals.
- Ensure entries reflect correct status, metadata, custodian, location, and valuation.
- Maintain 100% accuracy to prevent suspensions, audit issues, or mission impact.
- Prepare and submit required documents (DD1150, MDA113, etc.).
- Ensure documents capture valuation updates, serial corrections, custodian/location changes, lifecycle and cataloging updates.
- Achieve first‑pass acceptance with complete, correct formats, signatures, and supporting evidence.
- Enter assets into ELMS immediately upon receipt.
- Validate due‑ins and update inventory spreadsheets, matrices, and logs.
- Maintain awareness of pending approvals, incoming documents, and audit needs.
- Data Integrity Across Systems
- Maintain accurate, consistent records in ELMS, PIEE, PCARSS, LOSS, AESIP, and tracking tools.
- Prevent duplicate records, serial number errors, cataloging mistakes, or mismatched IDs.
- Validate all asset lines proactively.
- Reconcile shipments and verify asset identity against due‑ins.
- Receive assets accurately, with proper justification and correct documentation.
- Coordinate with EPAO, APO, A2R, Contracts, Auditing, and THAAD stakeholders for routing and approvals.
- Support working groups, meetings, tag‑ups, and staff calls.
- Ensure error‑free collaboration without repeated corrections.
- Complete accurate reviews and updates of spreadsheets, matrices, AESIP products, and tracking documents.
- Return corrections promptly and ensure all data points are verified before submission.
- Maintain proficiency in documentation workflows and tracking tools..
- High school diploma plus 18 years of relevant logistics, supply chain, property accountability, or DoD asset management experience
- 15 years of experience in government/defense property accountability or logistics.
- Proficiency with ELMS and familiarity with PIEE, PCARSS, LOSS, AESIP.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare DD1150 and MDA113 documents.
- Strong skills in asset receiving, due‑in validation, reconciliation, and audit support.
- Advanced Excel and data management capability.
- High attention to detail in a zero‑defect environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Must be a US citizen possess and maintain an active secret clearance.
- Must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
- Experience with missile defense programs (e.g., THAAD).
- Familiarity with A2R processes and property audit support.
- Knowledge of document‑control and lifecycle management standards..
