About the Role:

As a Welder based in the United States, you will play a critical role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in various welding techniques such as Arc, TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding will be essential in joining metal parts with precision and durability. You will interpret and work from detailed blueprints and technical drawings to meet exact specifications, contributing to the successful completion of projects across diverse industries. The role demands a strong understanding of metal properties, including stainless steel, and the ability to operate overhead cranes and other fabrication equipment safely. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a welder with proficiency in Arc, TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and working knowledge of stainless steel welding.
  • Certification from a recognized welding program or institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating overhead cranes and other heavy material handling equipment.
  • Certification in specialized welding techniques such as brazing.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various welding processes including Arc, TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding to fabricate and repair metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment to position heavy metal parts safely and accurately.
  • Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and engineering teams to plan and execute welding tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
