POSITION DETAILS
Reporting to the Associate Provost for Experiential Learning and Executive Director of Industry Partnerships, the Data and Technology Coordinator for CUNY Beyond will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure to meet the goals of the CUNY Beyond initiative, including preparing reports as needed. The Data and Technology Coordinator will build the necessary dashboards, reporting structures, and other digital forms that the college will need to report key performance indicators to CUNY Central, and will be responsible for determining software and hardware needs for implementation of the initiative. The Data and Technology Coordinator will also be responsible for data-analysis and data-visualization for the upcoming Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) institutional accreditation.
Specific Duties And Responsibility

Specific Duties And Responsibility
- Create, label, and score datasets using Excel, SPSS, and Power BI.
- Provide guidance to CUNY Beyond team members regarding platform and study design, data visualization, and data collection and analysis.
- Determine software and hardware need for implementation of CUNY Beyond.
- Communicate data analysis plans and research findings with CUNY Beyond team, faculty, and staff.
- Attend team meetings and contribute updates on data design, collection, and analysis progress.
- Coordinate in the development and presentation of workshops and projects.
- Assist with data collection and reporting for Middle States Commission on Higher Education self-study.
- Other project-related tasks will be assigned as appropriate.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
The Preferred Candidate Will Have
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with CUNY data management systems, such as CUNYFirst, Brightspace, Oracle, and CourseDog.
- Proven ability to create usable dashboards
- Extensive experience with data analysis, including the ability to write reports
Provides basic operational and analytical support related to a College's specialized academic program.
- Supports the directors and managers with orientation preparation, student advisement regarding program requirements, and providing basic information about financial aid and registration
- Manages office records including faculty files; prepares reports and surveys; collects and maintains statistical data on program activities
- Serves as liaison to various College offices to provide service delivery and appropriate referrals to students
- Collects and reviews syllabi to ensure compliance with standards
- Serves as resource person for students and faculty regarding program policies and procedures
- May supervise office operations and/or monitor department budget
- Performs related duties as assigned.
