Lehman College of the City University of New York (CUNY) is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Business, Management, and Finance in the School of Business for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond.
Adjunct faculty are primarily responsible for teaching assigned courses using an experiential, applied learning approach. The School of Business places a strong emphasis on integrating real world data, case based instruction, and hands on tools into the classroom to enhance student engagement and career readiness. Additional responsibilities may include holding office hours, participating in departmental meetings, and supporting student learning.
Courses that may require coverage include, but are not limited to: Principles of Finance, Corporate Finance, Investments, and Financial Markets (undergraduate and graduate), Principles of Management, Strategic Management, International Business, Business Law, Labor Relations, Organizational Behavior (undergraduate and graduate), and Human Resource Management (undergraduate and graduate).
Qualifications
For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:
Ph.D. in a relevant field or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to teach successfully at the college level.
For Adjunct Lecturer
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. Demonstrated ability to teach successfully.
Compensation
Adjunct faculty are compensated on a per course basis in accordance with the PSC CUNY collective bargaining agreement. Current rates range from $112.50 to $137.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
