Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality control procedures aligned with industry standards such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and other relevant frameworks.
- Conduct regular quality audits across manufacturing facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Lead quality inspection activities throughout the production process to verify product specifications and detect deviations early.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, engineering, and regulatory affairs—to resolve quality issues swiftly and effectively.
- Manage documentation related to quality management systems, including inspection reports, audit findings, corrective actions, and compliance records.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and regulatory updates to promote a culture of quality consciousness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data trends, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare for and participate in external audits from regulatory bodies or certification agencies to maintain compliance status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong focus on Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA).
- Deep knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), FDA regulations, HACCP (hazard analysis critical control point), and CGMP (current good manufacturing practices).
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting quality audits and inspections with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of quality systems management tools including QA/QC protocols, analysis skills, project management techniques, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams, document findings clearly, and collaborate with regulatory agencies.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets for process improvements and compliance verification.
