What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Coordinator position at Lehigh Valley Center for Child and Family...?
Our practice is looking for an undergraduate student or recent graduate to support our services to the Lehigh Valley. Our practice sees clients of all ages but is focused on clients between 5 and 25 years of age. Clients typically present with issues including anxiety, depression, phobias, OCD, mood disorders, individuals with high functioning autism, and other areas interfering with life functioning. We have also starting a new autism screening clinic.
The ideal candidate for this position would be an undergraduate student in psychology (or a related field) looking to gain or enhance their experience working with children, teens, and adults in an outpatient environment. It is strongly preferred that the candidate has more than a year left in their program so that they do not transition out quickly from the position upon graduation.
The position includes working at the front desk, answering incoming phone calls, responding to emails, and coordinating with our clinicians. An understanding of several diagnoses is beneficial to be able to connect prospective clients to a clinician.
LVCCFD provides a warm and welcoming environment with some schedule flexibility. Daytime availability is preferred, but some late afternoon/evening hours may be available. Compensation for the position will be hourly.
