Lehigh Resort and Golf Club | Lehigh Acres, FL.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and help ensure our resort facilities, equipment, and grounds are maintained to high standards of safety, appearance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, schedule, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
- Oversee daily repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility inspections.
- Maintain resort buildings, equipment, machinery, and related systems.
- Prioritize work orders and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and outside contractors.
- Monitor department expenses, purchasing, supplies, and budget performance.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with fire and life-safety programs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and project records.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance and supervisory experience.
- Strong working knowledge of general building and facility maintenance.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to changing operational needs.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance work and meet the physical demands of the position.
- Availability for additional hours, weekends, or on-call needs when required.
Preferred:
- Resort, hotel, condominium, or multi-facility maintenance experience.
- CPO, EPA Universal, OSHA/safety training, or similar maintenance-related certifications.
- Experience with computerized work-order or preventive-maintenance systems.
