Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including setting up formwork and ensuring proper placement of rebar according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as cutting tools to facilitate concrete pouring, finishing, and cutting tasks
- Support the installation of formwork, metal stud framing, and other structural components necessary for concrete projects
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and applying textures to achieve desired surface quality
- Follow safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards, heavy lifting procedures, and proper handling of tools and materials
- Interpret construction plans and schematics to accurately execute project specifications
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Skilled in rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring, finishing techniques, and concrete cutting
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and reading detailed construction plans
- Experience working on diverse construction projects including commercial buildings, renovations, or restorations
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for all team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout demanding workdays
- Competence in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, trowels along with power tools like drills and mixers.
- Valid driver’s license needed or if u have a CDL pay will increase.
