Concrete Finisher / Laborer
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Concrete Finisher / Laborer to join our growing team. We prefer candidates with hands-on experience in residential and commercial concrete construction; however, experience is not required for motivated individuals who are eager to learn the trade. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and capable of assisting with all phases of concrete work, including site preparation, form setting, concrete placement, and finishing. We take pride in producing high-quality workmanship and are willing to provide on-the-job training in concrete finishing techniques for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with job site preparation and setup.
- Set and strip forms, ensuring proper alignment, grade, and dimensions.
- Prepare and install stone base, reinforcement, and other materials as required.
- Assist with placing, spreading, leveling, and finishing concrete for sidewalks, walkways, patios, driveways, curbs, steps, slabs, and other concrete structures.
- Operate hand and power tools, including screeds, floats, trowels, saws, drills, and other construction equipment.
- Cut control joints, finish edges, and assist with detailed finishing work.
- Apply broom finishes, stamped concrete finishes, and other decorative concrete applications, with on-the-job training provided as needed.
- Load, unload, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site throughout all phases of construction.
- Assist with site cleanup and other general labor duties as needed.
Note: Previous concrete experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Minimum of 2 years of construction experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of concrete and finishing techniques.
- Experience with stamped and decorative concrete is a plus.
- Ability to read grades, use string lines, and work from plans or specifications.
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, and other construction equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule & Benefits:
- Full-time seasonal position.
- Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work based on project demands.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
