Legends is looking to add to our culinary leadership team with a passionate, experienced Sous Chef who wants to do more than simply manage a shift.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being in the kitchen, takes pride in the food leaving the window, and believes great leaders work alongside their team—not from the sidelines.
This role offers the opportunity to help lead our everyday kitchen operation while also bringing creativity to special menus, catered in-house events, holiday celebrations, parties, and new food ideas.

What You'll Do
- Lead by example and work alongside the kitchen team during service
- Help oversee daily kitchen operations, food preparation, execution, and workflow
- Maintain our standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and portioning
- Bring creativity and ideas to menu development, specials, catered events, and holiday offerings
- Help plan and execute food for in-house parties and catered events
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
- Create accountability while helping build a positive, productive kitchen culture
- Maintain strong food safety, sanitation, organization, and cleanliness standards
- Assist with inventory, ordering, food costs, waste reduction, and portion control
- Communicate and collaborate with our Front of House leadership to keep the entire restaurant running smoothly
- Identify problems, take ownership, and help develop solutions
- Support the continued growth and development of our kitchen operation
Who We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate:
- Has strong restaurant and kitchen experience
- Has previous leadership, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar experience
- Is passionate about food and takes pride in quality and presentation
- Enjoys creating new dishes, specials, and event menus
- Leads through example, consistency, and accountability
- Knows how to motivate, coach, and develop a team
- Understands food safety, sanitation, inventory, food cost, and kitchen organization
- Remains calm and makes good decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Communicates well with both Back of House and Front of House teams
- Is dependable and willing to jump in wherever needed
- Wants to continue learning and growing professionally
- Is available to work a restaurant schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
