ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Groundskeeper at Destination El Paso at the El Paso Convention & Performing Arts Center. The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining facility grounds and landscaping.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education And/or Experience
Valid driver’s license. 2 years’ experience in ground maintenance preferred.
Skills And Abilities
Exposure to adverse weather conditions and various cleaning chemicals. Position requires extensive walking, bending, stooping, and occasional climbing.

- Performs exterior cleaning of all grounds inclusive of; slip areas, steps, docks, and lots.
- Water and maintains facility gardens and landscape.
- Occasional driving of a company vehicle such as trucks, sweepers or maintenance carts.
- Maintains and inventories grounds equipment and supplies.
- Directs part-time personnel on department duties or special projects as required.
- Working knowledge of general grounds keeping and familiarity with related equipment required.
- Ability to work flexible/irregular hours.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to give directions to other department personnel.
- Ability to interact with all types of people.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers, customers, vendors, and visitors.
