- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Prepare and package individual place settings.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Sweep and scrub floors.
- Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
- Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.
- Receive and store supplies.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Possess a High School diploma or GED with (1) year of related experience.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit a professional attitude and appearance.
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
- Work well independently exercising judgment and initiative, as well as in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.
- Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to work in fast paced kitchen environment.
- Be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
- Must pass background check.
- NON-SLIP SHOES REQUIRED.
