Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a part time Ball Park Groundskeeper for ASM Global/Sames Auto Arena. This position is responsible for responsible for performing grounds, turf and landscape maintenance assigned by the Head and Assistant Groundskeeper.

This position is responsible for responsible for performing grounds, turf and landscape maintenance assigned by the Head and Assistant Groundskeeper.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform turf and landscape activities such as such as dragging the infield for in-game maintenance, raking, tamping and watering the playing field.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of irrigation system.
- Assist with the set up and removal of batting practice equipment.
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs and flowers.
- Assist in the placement and removal of the infield tarp during inclement weather.
- Assist with cleanup and maintenance of tools, equipment and the shop work area.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time on hard-surface floor.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to recognize and use simple hand-held, manual and power tools needed for performance of general maintenance duties.
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years janitorial/custodial experience required.
- Good leadership and communication skills necessary.
- Skills and knowledge to perform routine manual and physical tasks regularly.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and consistent punctuality.
- Ability to operate grounds equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
