Job Description:
The Fine Dining Host/Hostess is responsible for providing exceptional service at Dukes Steakhouse, ensuring a welcoming and professional dining environment that enhances the guest experience and fosters customer loyalty.
Job Requirements:
- Provide friendly, responsive, and professional guest service at all times.
- Build positive rapport with guests while escorting them to their tables.
- Accommodate guest seating requests whenever possible.
- Manage seating rotations to ensure balanced service across all sections.
- Promote and highlight current wine specials and promotions.
- Communicate guest needs and special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries, to leadership.
- Relay guest compliments, concerns, and feedback to management promptly.
- Monitor the flow of business and adjust seating and staffing support as needed.
- Take guest reservations and maintain accurate reservation records in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma/GED.
- Previous fine dining experience preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must comply with all applicable health codes and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of casino operations and environment preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of wine and wine service preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
