We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Wipe down all surfaces in resident rooms and shared areas multiple times daily
- Disinfect high-touch points including door/cabinet handles, handrails, light switches, and shared electronics
- Sweep and mop hard floors; vacuum carpets; inspect door mats for wear and tripping hazards
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including showers, tubs, whirlpools, sinks, countertops, and toilets
- Properly tie and remove trash bags; remain alert for tears or spills when handling waste
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with facility standards
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and label machines
- Inspect and treat stained or damaged laundry items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
- Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Assist residents with laundry-related inquiries or requests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of different fabrics and proper care instructions
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
