Body man for Restoration Shop

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Restoration Specialist to join our automotive restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration processes, with the ability to perform precise work on vehicles to restore their appearance and structural integrity. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and customer service skills to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work.
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, sanding with power tools, and masking for painting
• Perform vehicle detailing to ensure a polished finish post-repair
• Conduct vehicle maintenance checks and assist with assembly or reassembly of vehicle components
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards

Experience

• Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
• Proficiency in auto body repair and auto restoration techniques required
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
• Experience in auto detailing, assembly, heavy lifting, and vehicle maintenance is beneficial
• Prior experience with auto body is a must.

Pay: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
